As of August 1, 2008 Coach John
Swickrath has handed his lessons
over to Coach Aaron Smith.
Aaron has learned a lot from me
and I fully endorse him as the #1
coach in Lynchburg for private
lessons.
Coach John Swickrath has been
doing private lessons, small group
instruction, and mini clinics for the
past eleven years. Through
experience in coaching and
working with many kids he has
developed a regimen that will
develop highly skilled basketball
players.

Aaron Smith, a former player of
John's, returns to Lynchburg
College after spending a year at
Loyola College in Maryland. Aaron
was coached by John during the
2003-2005 seasons and has
worked with the community as a
camp counselor for the John
Swickrath's basketball camps and
the Hornets Hoops basketball
camps. He now works as an
Assistant Coach for the Lynchburg
College Women's Basketball team.
His main responsibility on the team
is Player Development, which is a
passion of his.
